Course Description
Kidney Detox treatments and Kidney support
treatments for people who have long histories of
taking medications, people on chemo or
radiation therapies, or anyone at risk for
damaged kidneys from autoimmune conditions,
etc.
Kiiko Matsumoto will also cover what she calls
constitutional blood pressure treatments, root
treatments for people who have a tendency to
high or low blood pressure, but that have not
necessarily been diagnosed with any kind of
blood pressure condition.
Kiiko Matsumoto will offer a discussion on
head points and the classical Chinese
understanding of points on the Du Mai and
Gallbladder channels which she uses to treat
chronic pain, depression, and sugar absorption
issues.
Instructor Information
Kiiko Matsumoto is the founder of Kiiko Style
of Acupuncture and considered to be a "living
Master of Acupuncture". She is well known for
her ability to integrate the work of some of the
most famous Japanese masters into her practice
for the last three decades. Her style of
acupuncture focuses on treating the root cause
with emphasis on the entire body rather than a
single symptoms. As a result, patients find
Kiiko's treatments to be effective and
long lasting.
Kiiko Matsumoto Style(KMS) acupuncture
utilizes a systematic, easy to learn, palpatory
method which is designed to provide instant
feedback. When using this system, a KMS
practitioner follows a palpation sequence which,
both establishes a diagnosis and suggests
several treatment options which might be
effective for treating a particular patient.
